The Milk
Link board have approved the first stage of the vingt
quatre intranet development proposal. The first stage of the
intranet development will include the bespoke MySQL Content
Management Solution which is will be the back end for all future
Milk Link e-Business platforms. The Intranet is developed from
a clean sheet of paper allowing a new, fully interactive solution
to be delivered. Feedback from Milk Link was very positive and
the proposed solution was commended for delivering exactly the
functionality and scalability that Milk Link would need. vingt
quatre have been acting as e-Business consultants with Milk
Link for over a year and a half building their five year e-Business
plan. The intranet stage 1 is the first of many outlined developments
to asert Milk Link as number one in their industry for e-Business

printer or browser friendly so that was ditched for a single

traffic level of half a million visitors over a weekend through

site. The new site will be designed to better promote
the estate to potential holiday makers as a premier place to
stay. The site will be written in three languages, English,
Swedish and German.

redevelop their existing web site. Currently the site is not
seen to portray the image the company wish to project so a major
rebrand, redesign and rebuild has been contracted. The project
includes the sourcing of all imagary for the site as well as
the design and build services.
e-Business Consultancy
vingt quatre are working on the Intranet Strategy for a major
UK Corporate, from Specification & Architecture to Build. The
company wish to tie the intranet cleanly into their existing
NT infrastructure to allow company wide document and knowledge
sharing without the need for technical know how from the users.
The use of either a bosed solution such as SharePoint or a Bespoke
MS-SQL backend are being considered by the VQ technical team.

Exchange is being launched, the site is designed,
built and hosted by VQ. Should you be looking for £500,000 investment,

Web Marketing and high

On the 9th of September '05, last week, one of the VQ built
and hosted web sites recieved a quarter of a million hits, over
the weekend traffic was up to half a million. The site stood
up, as did the server which just goes to show that reliability
and resiliance are there with VQ. The surge in traffic was due
to viral marketing leading to a listing on a high traffic directory.
Previous traffic highs were in the low tens of thousands through
early marketing through forums and discussion groups when the
site was launched. Establishing web traffic isn't easy or quick,
but it can be done and no it doesn't need to be expensive

tracking software. In the middle of April 2005 there was a chap
from Michigan, Fenton in the United States who was searching
for fencing products as he was putting up a new fence in his
'back yard'. Anyways, long story short we track all traffic
on our sites and saw this chap from this area searched for "buy
wooden stakes" using yahoo and 7th on the list on the 1st page
amongst the fencing companies was weSaw, the page on Dracula's
House, see the connection? Wooden Stakes!! dracula!! Vampires??
Killing of?? Well it all goes to show the power of web marketing
and getting traffic in, be specific and make it of interest.

Stage 1 of the Sunblis e-Strategy is complete. vingt quatre
have rebuilt and relaunched the Sunblis web
site. Users are now able to buy Sunblis on line using
the web site. Stage 2 will look at the strategic e-Marketing
of the site as we all know there is little worth in a working
site if no-one ever goes there.

vingt quatre have been approached by the Innovative SMS messaging
company UNOTHESCORE to redesign and rebuild their on line presence.
Currently the company have a very basic 'home made' site, which
is where many companies start out, but they realise it is harming
their business image and thus sales, so they need a new corporate
look and feel site.

Site ongoing maintenance and Search Engine Optimisation
vingt quatre have been putting together some new pages for weSaw
in the USA and Canada. We have also enlisted a newcorrespondant
to who will be delivering weSaw reports from Asia, Australia

through google is Piz Gloria which being winter would suggest
Ski Season searches, with skiers showing a left field interest
